Good Health At Cedars

Now more than ever we see that health and safety are the foundation for a rich and meaningful life

Cedars Health and Wellness Department is proactively and persistently working to keep residents and staff safe while staying current on the needs of this constantly changing situation.

Through the pandemic, residents have been able to practice health tips and activities from home and continue medical consultations through video appointments. For some, this means less anxiety around going to the doctor's office, as meetings are done from the comfort of their own home.

Cedars Health and Wellness Staff are providing critical services to ensure everyone is informed, prepared, and protected as much as possible - staff and residents alike.

The safety of our frontline staff is of utmost importance - as Cedars dedicated staff show up each day to meet this moment and support residents through this crisis.

Cedars Health and Wellness Staff have led many trainings around COVID-19 prevention and response procedures, distilling detailed, complex information from the CDC and government agencies into practical and relevant protocol.

Your support fuels this critical work – as Cedars Health and Wellness Department is funded entirely by donations like yours. It also provides protective equipment for staff and participants, including masks, sanitizers, and thermometers, in addition to learning resources with tips for staying healthy.

Since 1919, Cedars has been inspiring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead creative, productive, and joyous lives.
