Volunteer

“Most everyone who steps inside Cedars sees firsthand how adults with developmental disabilities flourish. With your help, in your own way, we hope you contribute to the lives of our participants, as I am sure they will contribute to yours.”  — Chuck Greene, Co-Executive Director

Cedars invites you to join our wonderful core of volunteers and contribute your special talents.

At Cedars we offer many ways you can dedicate your time and desire to serve:

  • Weekly/Monthly Activities — Participate in an ongoing variety of weekly/monthly activities for our residents that can include bowling, Bingo, and community outings.

  • Ongoing Positions-Volunteers can create a regular weekly schedule to interact directly with the staff and clients in one of the many programs that are offered at Cedars.

  • Skill Sharing — Volunteers have an opportunity to share their special skill or talent with our residents and staff.

  • Done-In-a-Day/Events — Interested in volunteering as an individual or group for one time activities or events on weekends or evenings? This is perfect for individuals or companies, school groups, and clubs. Done-in-a-Day/Activities/Events requirements may differ based on the event.  If you would like more information about being a Done-in-a Day volunteer, please contact the volunteer coordinator.
