Cedars Community Connections program is focused on fostering engagement in the local community through our many volunteer sites throughout Marin County.
Participants volunteer at organizations such as the Marin Headlands, part of the National Parks Service; the Marine Mammal Center to prepare meals for injured marine mammals; and SF Marin Food Bank to prepare food boxes for distribution throughout the county.
Cedars Volunteers Were Honored with the 2022 Hartzog Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service
Community Connections also has a Creative Expressions program where participants are encouraged to express themselves through art projects, drumming and music appreciation.
In addition to these fun activities, we also work on independent skills by going out in the community shopping, budgeting and meeting new friends.
