VOLUNTEER UPDATE
As we are very happy to welcome back Cedars volunteers, it is still our clear goal to keep everyone-- staff, clients, and volunteers-- as safe as possible. Therefore, for the time being and until further notice, our preference for individuals who wish to volunteer for Cedars must do so outdoors. We are currently requiring volunteers to be fully vaccinated to return to "in-person" volunteering. As we are given more relevant information, we will continue to update our guidelines for returning volunteers.
Cedars continues to have creative virtual volunteer opportunities available! Volunteers have been able to support residents virtually through Zoom hangouts/check-ins, showing off their special talents through music, magic, exercise classes, dance parties, baking classes, and more. Additionally, established Cedars volunteers have been able to interact and engage with residents through the Cedars Inspired Connections Facebook page. If you are interested in volunteering for Cedars, please fill out an application through the form below, and our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch with you soon.
Cedars is looking forward to welcoming back volunteers to our locations in a safe and gradual fashion. We deeply appreciate the new ways in which we have been able to remain connected and look forward to seeing some old faces and all the new ones!

“Teaching Charlie how to weave when I don’t even know how to operate a loom myself, helped teach me patience, understanding and simple love. I have learned so much from the clients at Cedars.”

"Volunteering at Cedars allows me to slow down and pay attention to the nuances of this world we live in. Never before have I marveled at a funny- shaped strawberry or wondered why a bird really sings. When you leave Cedars after a day of volunteering, there is definitely a feeling of wholeness -- the feeling that you've done something right".
