DESCRIPTION
ARE WE THERE YET?
Cedars artists have vacation on their minds! This show is all about the journey as well as the destination. Think cars, trains, road signs, back seat snacks, staycations, postcards, gas stations, beaches, monuments and landmarks! We are happy to be joined by select artists from the San Anselmo community in this celebration of hitting the road and seeing the world.

Sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, collage, mixed media, and fiber art
VENUE
Artist Within: A Cedars Gallery, 603 San Anselmo Ave, San Anselmo, CA 94960 and various participating businesses in San Anselmo

Select pieces may be featured in neighboring venues (businesses), to extend the “Are we There Yet?” theme across San Anselmo, from July 12 to August 23. These businesses are TBD and will be revealed as soon as we know them. Cedars will make a postcard, available for all at the Artist Within – A Cedars Gallery, listing the participating venues and their locations.

ENTRY PROCESS and DIGITAL IMAGE FORMAT

Send up to three JPEGS to nicolef@cedarslife.org

Send JPEGS at 300dpi. Images should not exceed 2MB.

Save images with last name underscore title underscore size of work underscore
(example: Jones_ Serenity_24”x 24”)

All artwork must be priced under $2000, 50% of the sale price will go to Cedars.
ART PREPARATION

All work must be ready for display. Paint must be dry.

Wall hung pieces must be securely wired.
-
All work must be labeled with Artist’s name & Contact information.

Maximum size of work should be 36” x 24”, preferably smaller
Gallery Policies/Requirements include:

Not all artists will have work selected for showing. Final artwork selections are up to the Curators.

Sold artwork must remain on view for the whole exhibition.

Artists agree to a 50% commission to Artist Within from all sales.

While all reasonable care is taken with submitted artwork, Artist Within strongly recommends that exhibiting artists carry their own insurance.Artist Within will not assume any liability for any damage or loss.

By submitting work, artists agree that photographic images and/or video of the artist and/or their artwork, in whole or in part, may be used by Cedars for publicity in various forms including print, online and social media.
