Some 30 years ago, I was an Art Major at UCSB’s the College of Creative Studies, where I discovered I had a passion for Life Drawing. Today, I'm still inspired to paint from Nature, be it a Still Life, to Landscape to a Portrait. I adore Color and experiment by layering warm and cool tones to create a sense of volume and a dynamic composition. I had the fortune to study oil painting with Millie Green, a student herself of the great Russian Impressionist Sergei Bongart. I also work in Pastels and Watercolor. I hope to share what Ive learned and connect with others through my Art, working through each note of the color until it speaks for itself.
