Allison loves art “from the bottom of my heart”. She describes taking her time and going with the flow as key to her personal process. Allison developed confidence in art making early on by observing and learning from her sister. Part of Allison’s inspiration is to inspire others with artful text that holds messages of encouragement. She is facile in her use of decorative text, defining each letter with vivid color and pattern. Allison is very comfortable using watercolor—a difficult medium—in a rainbow of bright color, her favorites being shades of pink, purple and lavender.
