I am drawn to found remnants of Material scraps, such as a piece of old wool blanket, a part of unfinished vintage embroidery, or a little piece of a worn Japanese silk garment-mysterious segments a past life. I like to: gather, reuse, mend, preserve and color with dyes from nature. I follow each piece to wherever it leads me, sheltering within and trusting its direction.
