Mike spends a great deal of his time walking around his home city of
Fort Bragg, quietly taking in the world. His powers of observation are
amazingly specific. He has been drawing and painting watercolors at
Art Explorers for over 20 years. He likes to draw and paint places or
people that he has seen around town or in books. Often he will
include written text that tells a long story about things he’s noticed, or
sometimes written complicated instructions on how things work. He
takes great pleasure in showing and in selling his artwork.
